PT Perentjana Djaja began its journey on 1961, when three visionary architects—Mr. Ciputra, Mr. Budi Brasali, and Mr. Ismail Sofyan, all alumni of ITB—founded a planning consultancy called Biro Daya Cipta. What started in a small rented garage on Jalan Talang, Central Jakarta, quickly grew into something much larger.

In 6 April 1962, the firm was officially renamed PT Perentjana Djaja, and relocated to Jalan Wahid Hasyim in the heart of Jakarta. One of our first major milestones was the design of the Sarinah Building on Jalan MH Thamrin—Jakarta’s first modern department store.

From those early days, we have expanded our work across a wide range of projects, including office buildings, hotels, malls, housing developments, roads, bridges, and more. Our strong growth has been driven by long-standing partnerships with both private companies and government agencies.

What sets us apart is our commitment to the Total Design concept—where every project is seamlessly integrated from planning to execution by experienced professionals from multiple disciplines.

Today, PT Perentjana Djaja has evolved into a comprehensive multidisciplinary consultancy, offering an extensive range of professional services that include Public-Private Partnerships (PPP & Non-PPP), Quantity Surveying, Bridge Engineering, Structural Design, and Architectural & Landscape Planning. As part of our continued growth, we have expanded our expertise to encompass Building Information Modeling (BIM), enhancing our capability to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions that support infrastructure and development projects from initial planning through to successful completion.
