Kali Kuto Bridge

As part of the Semarang–Batang Toll Road Design and Build (Package 1), PT Perentjana Djaja was entrusted with the planning and consultancy services for Sections 4 and 5 (STA 425+300 to STA 449+200), which included the design development of the landmark Kali Kuto Bridge.

The company’s scope of work began with comprehensive planning activities:

  • Conducting preliminary surveys and gathering secondary data as the foundation for engineering design.
  • Reviewing prior studies to refine technical solutions and align them with project objectives.
  • Preparing design criteria and standards for both road and bridge components.
  • Carrying out field surveys and investigations, including traffic analysis, topographic mapping, geotechnical studies, hydrology and drainage systems, and utility network assessments.
  • Developing detailed traffic analyses and forecasts to ensure safety and capacity requirements.
  • Producing final engineering drawings, structural calculations, and construction documentation for the toll road and the Kali Kuto Bridge.

Following the planning phase, PT Perentjana Djaja was subsequently appointed to supervise the construction of the Kali Kuto Bridge, ensuring that its execution complied with approved designs, quality standards, and technical specifications.

Through its involvement from planning to supervision, PT Perentjana Djaja played a key role in delivering the Kali Kuto Bridge as an iconic structure along the Semarang–Batang Toll Road, supporting safe and efficient connectivity in Central Java.
