PT Perentjana Djaja was entrusted with the Basic Design Planning for the Manado–Bitung Toll Road, covering the Ring Road I – Kauditan segment. The assignment encompassed a comprehensive range of services, beginning with preliminary and detailed technical surveys to obtain accurate data on topography, soil conditions, hydrology, and existing infrastructure. This stage ensured that all design activities were grounded in reliable field information.
Following the surveys, PT Perentjana Djaja prepared the technical design for road and bridge works, including alignment studies, geometric design, pavement structure, drainage systems, and bridge structures along the corridor. The work also involved the development of construction procedures and methods, serving as a reference for contractors during the physical implementation phase.
Special attention was given to ensuring that every element of the project — from earthworks and retaining structures to drainage, bridges, and other supporting facilities — was planned to meet stringent standards of safety, durability, and functionality. The firm’s expertise in engineering design provided a solid foundation for the realization of a toll road that would improve connectivity between Manado, Bitung, and surrounding areas, support regional economic growth, and enhance the overall transportation network in North Sulawesi.
Through this assignment, PT Perentjana Djaja contributed critical planning and engineering solutions to enable the successful delivery of one of the region’s most strategic infrastructure developments.
